The general idea is that cats are a bit aloof and selfish. But both of mine are so affectionate it's annoying sometimes. They follow me around the house, they have to lie within a few feet of where I am, if not closer, ie ON me. If I'm sad, they know. They headbutt me and sit on me and knead my back (personal masseuse) and purr in my ear, which is exceedingly relaxing.

They come when they're called.
