I can now play the first octave scale and second octave scale, major scales, anyway. So that's the c-major scale, and I guess the d-major scale, starting on the first string, and subsequently, the g and a major scale on the next string, and then d and e, and the a string I haven't got the second major step up on that one, since it's only going to use one string.

Leaps and bounds, ladies and gentlemen. Now if only I could bow at the same time. I can't seem to get the pressure right and I screech a little bit too often for my tastes...
